HID has 24,770 af in Cold Springs Reservoir and 17,290 af in Exchange Credits, for a Total so far of 42,060 af or 84% of our water for the 2018 season. If the Umatilla River stays up we should have our full entitlement within 25 days.
The field crew is installing safety fencing around the head end of the A-Line, preparing and installing new deliveries, repairing rotating screens, monitoring/inspecting the Feed Canal and preparing for a federal inspection.

The free, half-day conference will include panel discussions and presentations by industry leaders from around the region, as well as members of the Dunn Carney Ag Team, who provide farmers, ranchers, processors and retailers with annual updates on regulatory developments, legal issues, and best practices in the agriculture industry. Oregon Water Coalition will host a water rights workshop led by staff from the Oregon Water Resources Department on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 7:00 – 8:15pm at the Hermiston Conference Center.
This workshop will provide an overview of water rights terms and concepts. It is intended for those would like to gain a basic, foundational knowledge on the topic.
